1. What experience do I need?
All owners will attend a boat initiation course with a full support program and 24 hour emergency hotline, to guarantee that all owners are confident to enjoy there boating experience whilst ensuring that each owners investment is safe.
If required Saltshare can provide an additional comprehensive training program.
2. Can I use my boat outside my pre allocated days?
Yes you are entitled to unlimited “standby days” during the year subject to availability.
A message will be placed on an owner’s page on the website to inform partners when the boat will be available and you can contact Saltshare or the partner to book these days.
3. Can I swap my allocated days or weeks with other partners?
Yes of course you can, with the pre allocation system it is easy to determine which partner has the boat at which time and this enables you to contact Saltshare or the partner in advance if there is a specific week which you would like and ask to swap with various partners.
4. Can I sell my share?
Yes when you purchase a share of a vessel from Saltshare you are purchasing
an asset which can be treated as you would any other asset which you own.
Therefore you can sell or transfer your ownership in the boat and all rights associated with it at any time.
If you should choose to sell your share Saltshare will advertise your share for sale on our website and will also contact our vast database of interested parties to help with the quick sale of your share
5. What do we need to bring for our trips?
Simply bring your personal items, food, drinks, clothing etc all other items will be on board such as: kitchen ware, bed linen, towels and safety gear.

6. Who will maintain and clean my boat?
Saltshare will manage all operational aspects of the vessel including all general maintenance, insurance, marina fees, management and a total valet with laundering service and refueling at the end of each allocated week.
All members of our team are very experienced and we use only the very best tradesmen, so you can be at ease knowing that your asset is being looked after at the highest possible level.
7. How long is the ownership program?
Each boat syndicate will have a term of 4 years after this time the boat will be sold (unless all partners request otherwise) to ensure that you get the best return possible from your investment.
